Data Delivery Service

The Data Delivery Service delivers onto your mainframe or desktop a consolidated file of essential information affecting more than two million DTC-eligible securities, all of which is collected as a by-product of the depository's operations.

Who can use the service

Any organization with an interest in domestic or international financial markets, particularly asset managers, data vendors, banks, and brokers can participate in the service.

Benefits

  • Combines into a single application expanded security information with up-to-the-minute data on Corporate Actions, Dividends, and Redemptions.
  • Improves your data quality and reduces costs by taking advantage of DTC's state-of-the-art collection and distribution network

How the service works

Data Delivery Service customers may access these files through an application on their mainframe or personal computer. File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Direct:Connect (NDM) are the principal access methods. In the past, this data was available only to those employing the depository's Participant Terminal System (PTS), a system that is being phased out by the end of 2004 in favor of a browser-based system.
